All of the Nuevo Arenal downtown has paved roads, outside of town we have gravel roads that are usually in good conditions. The Fruit Tree Garden is 1 kilometer away from downtown, and the roads are in good shape all year round making it a safe drive for all kinds of vehicles to arrive to The Fruit Tree Garden.
Nuevo Arenal has very unique weather conditions.
It can get very hot in the morning and chilly and windy at nights.

Yes, it can get windy and very fresh at nights and sometimes throughout the day. Bringing long pants and a wind jacket would be recommended for night time.
The general walking areas are paved so any type of foot wear would do. To go in the garden, it is recommended to use either closed sandals or closed shoes.
At the moment of going down to the lake closed shoes would be the recommendation norm and water shoes for the lake front or water would do fine.
